I recently watched "Die Hard" again (it's a holiday classic) and it's sad that these days the most unbelievable part of that movie is that gas prices used to be below a dollar.
It's almost impossible to remember those days. I had only started driving the year this movie was made.
I hear ya sista. $4 a gallon? Ouch. To McGone: I also remember paying under $1 for gas. That was the case when I started driving.
I filled my tank yesterday at an even $4 per gallon. It was BIZARRE. Thankfully I have a VW and I don't have to drive very much so I'm not as affected by this stuff. Still.
I took that at about 7 pm on Friday night. You know I pulled in and checked the pumps to see if it was legit. Sadly all I got was this picture.
