Everything I Like Causes Cancer

Where we've been convinced to write a new post on Dec. 2. Stay tuned!

It has been one busy week, my friends, and I'm exhausted. But I'm not complaining because I've been busily celebrating the momentous occasions and accomplishments of some fantastic friends.

First, Kent and Tammy got engaged on Tuesday and there was much, much celebrating to be done. Kent had the whole event planned - he asked her during the day while they were walking their dog, on the exact park bench where he first proclaimed his love. He had also arranged a private 5-course meal for the two of them that finished just as all of their friends joined them at the restaurant. They are a great couple and we are incredibly excited for them. Congrats, you two!

And remember my friend Andy who grew a cheesy 70's-porn cop 'stache as a display of solidarity with his police academy class? He graduated last night! There were 20 guys in his class, every one of them grew the 'stache, and it was a hoot when they marched one-by-one into the auditorium. The MC, a local newscaster, suggested in his closing remarks that their upper lips put them in the St. Louis Police Department history books.

Here's Andy sporting his cop 'stache and the wickedly cool Foster Grant aviator sunglasses that LM gave him.

Sans 'stache and aviators. Isn't he cute? Ladies, he's single!

We're so proud of him. He worked very hard and will make an excellent copper. I feel safer knowing he's out there protecting and serving our community. Well, starting Monday. Until then I'm a little uneasy.

Can we start with the bacon and doughnut jokes now?

I'd like to be a cop just for the unnecessary strip searches of hot ladies. They can do that, right?

Does that mean he won't arrest us when he finds us doing illegal things?

Othurme: . . . and they both said, "Ow!"

Pistols: If they can I'm calling Andy right now to turn myself in.

Doc: They are really good friends. I recommend the acquisition. They make life truly enjoyable.

Jeff: Just sayin? Hell, I know it will. Knowing Andy we'd just a stern talking to and a warning. Rawks, don't he?
