It's a long story that I won't likely ever tell. Suffice it to say that we have painful history that has never addressed and it continues to effect how we perceive and interact with each other. I wish it could be different but I'm not sure that's possible.
For a long time I thought I knew how to cope with it but more recently I realized that the coping was harder on me than having a relationship so I had to let it go.
